How to edit your SRT file for Subtitles

Windows:
- Right click on the SRT file and select "Open with" Notepad
- Make the changes you want within Notepad
- Save the SRT file
- Upload to desired video as subtitle option
Mac:
- Right click on the SRT file and select "Open with" TextEdit
- Make the changes you want within Notepad
- Save the SRT file
- Upload to desired video as subtitle option
YouTube:
- Head over to YouTube Studio and sign in
- Select subtitles on the left hand side
- Select the video you want to edit subtitles for - of course, you'll need to upload the video beforehand
- To the right of the video, click on "Duplicate and Edit" to edit the automatically generated subtitles. Or click on "Add Language" to add new subtitles using your SRT file
- Click on "Upload file" in the subtitle editing screen
- Select your SRT file
- You can then go ahead and start editing your subtitles
